Sedalia Bicyclist Injured When He Was Struck By a Van Monday Evening

Bicycle rider suffers serious injuries in an accident Monday evening

At 6:20 Monday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Sedalia Police Department reported a vehicle accident involving a bicycle rider. The accident, which took place at Route “B” and Cambridge Road in Pettis County, occurred as a 1999 Ford F-350 Van driven by Danil Uzun of Mora overtook and struck the bicyclist identified as 49-year-old Aleksey L. Kaemper of Sedalia. Kaemper suffered serious injuries in the accident, and was taken to University Hospital by Staff For Life Air EMS for treatment.
