The Sedalia Bombers are in first place in the MINK League South, but lost a tough one in extra innings last night (July 4) to the St. Joseph Mustangs 3-2 in 14 innings. The Bombers have a key four game home stand, starting tonight (July 5) against the MINK League North Foe, Chilicothe Mudcats.

This matchup will also feature something the Bombers have not done before. The Bombers will have a  throwback night at Liberty Park Stadium. The Bombers shirts will be replicas of the uniforms worn by the 1934 Katy Railroad Machine Shop team. The players will autograph their shirts to be silent auctioned during the game. The game starts at 7 pm.

The Sedalia Bombers will also be home on Sunday, July 6, versus the Ozark Generals at 6 pm. Monday's game is a makeup game that rained out on June 10, between the Nevada Griffons and Sedalia Bombers at 7 pm. Tuesday, July 8, will be a key matchup as the second place Joplin Outlaws travel to Sedalia at 7 pm.
