The Sedalia Bombers had a chance to win the MINK League Championship, last night (July 25) in St. Joseph. The Sedalia Bombers took off on a quick 3-0 lead, before St. Joseph Mustangs rallied with three runs in the 2nd. The Bombers did take another lead 4-3 in the 5th inning, however St. Joseph scored one run for the next three innings and won the game 6-4.

The Sedalia Bombers and St. Joseph Mustangs are tied up 1-1 in the MINK League Championship. This game doesn't just mean the championship for the league, but also will provide the winner with a higher seed in the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kansas. The winner would get the luxury of a week off, but the loser will play in the NBC World Series on Saturday (July 26) versus the Alburquerque Diablos at 10 pm.

I'll be bringing you the play-by-play from Phil Welch Stadium in St. Joseph at 6:50 tonight.
