UPDATE: The Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce has again postponed the Christmas Parade and Jingle Jog until next Saturday, Dec. 21, this time due to the snow and ice in tonight's weather forecast.

The latest forecast is calling for the probability of a thin layer of icing to develop on surfaces this evening followed by 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight. Please use care in driving tonight and tomorrow.

The Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce has postponed the Christmas Parade and Jingle Jog until next Saturday, Dec. 14, due to the low temperatures in the forecast. The parade was originally scheduled for tomorrow (Dec. 7).

Temperatures are forecast to be around 13 degrees at 10 a.m. tomorrow with a wind chill around zero to two degrees.

According to Dave Clippert of the Sedalia/Pettis County Emergency Management Agency, the forecast for next Saturday looks to be in the 40's.
