Sedalia City Council Rejects The Broadway Parking Ordinance at Monday Night’s Pre-Council Meeting

The City Council met at City Hall last night with a full agenda. The item that garnered the most attention on the agenda however was the much debated ordinance to add restrictions to parking for those homeowners who live on Broadway. In fact the ordinance did not make it out of the pre-council meeting as the council voted 5 to 2 to not bring the ordinance to the floor. Following the meeting KSIS had an opportunity to talk to Sedalia Mayor Stephen Galliher, who said the ordinance is now dead.
