The following Sedalia crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of Nov. 26, 2013.

Sedalia man arrested this morning

Around 8:00 this morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 17th and Grand with a suspect with a Greene County Warrant. Arrested at the scene was 39-year-old Eric Glidewell of Sedalia. At the time of the police report, Glidewell was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $5000 bond on the warrant.

Sedalia suspect arrested Monday afternoon following a foot pursuit

At 2:06 Monday afternoon, Sedalia police apprehended 26-year-old Carlos Staten in the 1500 block of East 5th following a foot pursuit. Following confirmation of a Pettis County Warrant, Staten was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending on the warrant, and pending charges for resisting arrest.

Pettis County Deputies investigate an assault Monday afternoon

At 12:41 Monday afternoon, Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an assault that had occurred in the 3500 block of East Booneville. An investigation is still going on in the incident.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Accidents

Just after 6:00 Sunday evening, the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Highway 58 and US 50 Highway in Johnson County. The accident reportedly occurred as the Dodge Stratus driven by 55-year-old Rodney Hurt of Centerview failed to yield to the 1998 Isuzu Rodeo driven by 22-year-old Ryan Goff of Blue Springs. Hurt continued onto 58 from a stop sign where his vehicle encountered the Goff vehicle. Hurt received moderate injuries in the crash, while his passengers, 52-year-old Margaret Hurt and 11-year-old Aaron Hurt of Centerview, suffered minor injuries. All three victims were transported to Lee’s Summitt Hospital by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment.
