On Thursday (Dec 27), Sedalia Police responded to the 300 block of W. 5th Street in reference to a report of a stolen vehicle. The theft occurred Dec. 26 and Dec. 27. At this time, the vehicle has not been located and there are no suspects.


Early Thursday morning (Dec 27), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of W. 20th Street and S. Park Ave for a vehicle with expired plates. One of the occupants was found to have a Pettis County warrant for misdemeanor possession of drugs. 18-year old Cordero V. Anderson was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $2,500.00.


Just before 3:00 Thursday afternoon (Dec 27), Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers in Benton County arrested 28-year old William H. Howe, of Sedalia. Howe was arrested for a felony Pettis County warrant, felony Benton County warrant, Driving while Revoked and Failure to Display Valid Plates. He was taken to the Benton County Jail.


On Wednesday (Dec 26), Sedalia Police responded to the 100 block of S. Harding Ave for a report of property damage and theft. The complainant stated she parked her car on the side of the road and when she later returned, discovered that the window and windshield on the vehicle had been damaged and several clothing items had been taken. No further details were available in the report.


On Tuesday (Dec 25), Sedalia Police took a theft report in the 400 block of S. Grand Ave. The victims stated that two suspects had been living "half-way" at the residence. Several items had been taken out of the residence. The investigation is ongoing. There were no further details available in the report.
