Sedalia Police crime reports 9-21-18

Sedalia Police took an assault report from a man in the 300 block of S. Engineer at 1:40 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, two males knocked on his front door. While talking with one of them, the other punched him in his left jaw. The victim said he couldn't remember anything else that happened besides spitting up blood.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of W. 3rd at 2:18 a.m. Friday. Two people were arrested for assaulting each other. Khristy Lynnel Clark, 46, and Bobby L. Clark, 37, were both charged with 3rd degree assault. Bobby was also charged with a violation of an ex parte. Both were taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges.


 

Sedalia Police took a burglary report on Thursday afternoon in the 1600 block of S. Lamine. Over the last three days, someone entered the victim's home and took a bag containing $600 of items. There are no suspects.


 

On Thursday morning, a man in the 300 block of W. 10th reported the theft of a riding lawnmower from his residence. The theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday. Taken was a Poulan Pro, valued at $900.


 

On Thursday afternoon, a man in the 1400 block of E. 10th reported that someone stole his bank credit card and withdrew $203 from his account. According to the report, the suspect attempted to use the card several more times, but the card was denied. Charges of fraudulent use of a debit device and stealing are being requested by police.
