Sedalia Man Arrested After Crashing Into Apartment Building

Sedalia Police arrested 36-year-old Robert M. Williams of Sedalia at 1:46 a.m. Tuesday morning.

According to a report, police were called to 327 Scott Joplin Court where a vehicle had struck a building in the Buckner Apartment Complex (Sedalia Housing Authority).

Officers determined that Williams, the driver, was impaired by drugs and alcohol. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

WIlliams was charged with Driving While Impaired by Drugs, Possession of Marijuana, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid License and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

The building Williams allegedly hit sustained structural damage to the east wall.
