Sedalia Man Arrested After Flashing a Weapon at Jiffy Stop

On Dec. 9, Sedalia Police arrested Jessie R. Williams, 27, Sedalia for 1st Degree Peace Disturbance at Jiffy Stop, 1722 W. Broadway, after police responded to a reported robbery.

According to a report, the suspect entered the store, approached the clerk and raised up his shirt, exposing a pistol. He then asked the clerk if she thought the pistol was fake or not.

The suspect did not take or demand anything, the report noted. He then left the store.
