Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 700 block of S. State Fair Blvd. around 7:20 p.m. on February 14 after it was reported that two people were observed looking into the windows of a residence.

According to police, contact was made with the suspects, and an investigation led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia on 37-year-old Tavares Qyndel Black. Police arrested Black for possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, driving while suspended/revoked, and possession of a synthetic narcotic.

Black was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.
