Sedalia Man Arrested after Police Respond to Report of Break-in

Sedalia Police responded to a report of a break-in on East 7th Street at 3:05 p.m. Dec. 20.

According to the report, a back door was found to be open. The suspect heard the officers outside and asked what he could do for them. The officers asked him for ID to make sure he was at the residence lawfully.

A computer check of the man, 36-year-old Eric Wissman of Sedalia, revealed he was wanted on three warrants – two counts of non-support of a child (no bond), and one misdemeanor traffic offense with a $5,000 bond. Wissman was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
