A Sedalia man faces several charges following a vehicle pursuit Saturday that started in the area of Emmit and Saline Streets in Sedalia.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office, the pursuit, which involved Pettis County Deputies, the Sedalia Police Department, a Sedalia K-9 unit and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, continued into the county and ended at 14th and New York in Sedalia. The K-9 unit reportedly tracked the driver of the vehicle, identified as Carl Dean Cross of Sedalia, who was found hiding in the garage of a residence.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office is requesting a number of charges, including:

  • Burglary in the First Degree
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession With The Intent to Deliver
  • Felon in Possession of a Firearm
  • Felony Resisting Arrest
  • Probation and Parole (No Bond Warrant)
  • Pettis County Warrant
  • Failure to Stop at Stop Sign
  • Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle
  • Carless and Imprudent Driving
  • Speeding (100 mph+)
  • No Proof of Insurance
  • Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle With the Department of Revenue
  • Displaying Plates of Another
