Sedalia Man Arrested For Burglary

A burglary in the 400 block of East 16th Street was reported to Sedalia Police on October 19.

Police say that officers checked the interior of an abandoned house, but no suspects were found. A witness showed officers a picture of the suspect, who was contacted by police.

Sedalia Police say that 55-year-old Russell Bain admitted to stealing from the property. Other property owned by the victim was also reportedly recovered at the suspect's home.

Bain was arrested for 2nd degree burglary, stealing from a building and 2nd degree property damage. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
