A 25-year old Sedalia man was arrested Monday morning for assault and an active Pettis County warrant after police engaged in a foot pursuit.

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 500 block of N. Quincy Ave for a reported assault against two victims just after 7:00. While en route to the scene, an officer radioed that the suspect was seen running on W. Main Street.

A foot pursuit began and officers arrested the suspect, identified as Seth A. Farr.

Two victims reportedly had visible injuries on their hands from being struck by a large piece of wood.

Farr was placed on a twenty-four hold at the Pettis County Jail on two counts of 2nd Degree Assault, Felony Resisting Arrest, and 1st Degree Trespassing. Farr also had an active FTA warrant from Pettis County.

Bond was set at $1,500.
