Sedalia Man Charged in Stabbing Incident at End Zone

Sedalia Police responded to the End Zone, 3129 W. Broadway, in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center around 4 p.m. Saturday on a report of a physical altercation during a bike show.

According to the report, the suspect, 37-year-old Travis E. Ballew, Sedalia, "stepped in" and stabbed Joshua Clark, 31, of Columbia, while Clark was arguing with a third man. Ballew then fled the scene, but was later located at 911 E. Broadway.

He was taken by officers to the Sedalia Police Department for questioning by detectives, then transferred to the Pettis County Jail, where he was charged with 1st Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action. Clark was transported to University Medical Center by air ambulance.
