A 48-year old Sedalia man accused of child-related sex crimes is now facing even more charges.

A press release from the Sedalia Police Department indicates that on July 30, officers responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of W. 16th Street. While investigating the disturbance, a comment was reportedly to police that a 15-year old girl in the area was being molested by a family member.

A forensic interview was conducted with the girl, who disclosed that family member, David B. Wilson, had molested her. Investigation resulted in charges being filed against Wilson for 1st Degree Sexual Abuse, 2nd Degree Child Molestation and 2nd Degree Statutory Sodomy. Wilson was arrested and given a $110,000 bond.

According to the press release, while Wilson was incarcerated, a second victim who is now in his 20s, said Wilson had molested him from the ages of 8 - 15 years. That investigation then led to charges against Wilson for 1st Degree Child Molestation, with a $50,000 bond.

A short time later, a 17-year old victim came forward and stated that Wilson had molested him over the last several years. Police investigated those incidents and now charges are being sought against Wilson for 4th Degree Child Molestation, 4th Degree Assault, and Enticement of a Child.
