A 43-year old Sedalia man was injured Friday afternoon when two vehicles collided in Johnson County, MO.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 3:30, on MO-2 at SW 1301 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2001 Mazda 626 entered the intersection and struck the side of a 1999 Ford Econoline van. The Mazda then traveled off the road, struck a ditch, overturned, and came to rest on its top.

The Ford traveled off the road and came to rest.

The driver of the Ford, Michael B. Martin, of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

The driver of the Mazda, 40-year old Tina L. Noland, and a passenger, 14-year old Kaitlyn T. Lewis, both of Holden, suffered minor injuries. Noland and Lewis reportedly declined medical treatment.

All three people were wearing safety devices. Both vehicles were totaled and towed.
