Sedalia Man Injured in Weekend Rollover Wreck

A 22-year old Sedalia man was injured Saturday afternoon after the vehicle overturned in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just after 4:00, on Highway 65 at Manilla Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2002 Chevy Cavalier lost control on the ice-covered road. The Chevy then slid off the road, impacted a ditch, and overturned. The vehicle continued to slide and impacted a fence, before coming to rest on its top.

The driver, Timothy D. Kurz, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

The report indicates Kurz was wearing a safety device. The Chevy sustained moderate damage and was towed.
