A Sedalia man's vehicle was totaled in a rear-end collision that occurred seven miles north of Springfield in Greene County late Wednesday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 73-year-old Joe E. Potter of Sedalia was northbound on US Highway 65 at mile marker 62.2 in a 2009 Nissan Altima at 11:32 p.m. when a northbound 1996 Ford Explorer, driven by 19-year-old Shania D. Dicken of Buffalo, struck the rear of the Altima.

Dicken suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by private vehicle. She was wearing a safety device. Her vehicle had moderate damage. Potter was listed as uninjured, but his Altima was totaled and towed from the scene.
