A Sedalia man suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash that occurred in Jackson County at 1:25 a.m. this morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Holden B. Browning was the driver of a westbound 1998 Ford on I-70 at Missouri Route 7 when he attempted to avoid another vehicle, causing him to run off the right side of the roadway, roll down an embankment, where it came to rest.

Browning was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Jackson County EMS. He was wearing a safety device, the report said.

The Ford was totaled. Jackson County deputies and Blue Springs police assisted the Patrol with the investigation.
