Thanks to a $9,673 Missouri Lottery Club Keno prize, a Sedalia man is hoping to continue his winning streak. Steven Young Jr., 34, was at E. Street Bar, 1201 E. Third St., in Sedalia, with friends on March 4 when he won the prize.

“I had been playing my own numbers the entire night,” began the father of five. “I played a few times, but didn’t win on any of them.”

Before heading home for the night, Young decided to play one last 6-spot Club Keno ticket, but this time he used Quick Pick. The father’s night quickly turned around, saying that he and his friends were elated to see his numbers – 5, 42, 52, 56, 59 and 68 – on the Keno monitors.

“The bartender had to scan the ticket a few times before he thought it was a winner.”

Young, an assistant manager at an auto parts store, said he plans on putting his winnings in the bank and spending some money on his five children as well. He concluded, saying he would be returning to E. Street Bar to see if he could continue his newfound luck.

To play Club Keno, players choose how many different numbers (also called “spots”) they want to play from 1 to 10. Twenty numbers from a field of 1 to 80 are chosen in a computerized random Club Keno drawing held every four minutes.  To learn more about Club Keno or any of the Missouri Lottery games, visit MOLottery.com.
