Sedalia Mayor Elaine Horn Will Not Run for Reelection in 2014

Sedalia Mayor Elaine Horn announced she would not seek another term as mayor in 2014 at a news conference this afternoon (Nov. 21).

In April, Horn will have served as Sedalia’s Mayor for 5 years, after serving as the 1st Ward City Councilwoman for three years. Horn was selected by the council to finish the remaining term of Sedalia Mayor Bob Wasson, who died in office in April 2009. Mayor Horn was elected for a full term as Mayor in April of 2010.
