Sedalia man arrested on Benton County Warrants this (Thursday) morning

At 9:45 this (Thursday) morning, Sedalia police conducted a warrant check on a male suspect at a residence in the 800 block of West 7th. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the suspect, 33-year-old Joshua Keith of the residence. Following confirmation of the warrants, Keith was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a total of $29,000 bond on two failure to appear warrants out of Benton County.

Heating and air condition unit stolen from a vacant building on West Main

Just before 11:00 this (Thursday) morning, Sedalia police responded to a vacant building in the 700 block of West Main on a theft complaint. Upon arrival, the complainant told officers that sometime over the past two months while the building was vacant, someone stole a Lennox heating and cooling unit valued at $3000. There was no information on possible suspects in the police report.

GPS unit stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Massachusetts

At 7:50 this (Thursday) morning, a victim in the 200 block of South Massachusetts filed a theft from a motor vehicle complaint with the Sedalia police. According to the complainant, someone broke a window of her vehicle sometime overnight and stole a Garmin GPS Unit valued at $50. There were no suspects at the time of the police report and a damage estimate was not available.
