A Sedalia man was issued a municipal summons for urinating in public on February 14. Police were dispatched to the 300 block of W. 5th Street at 10:33 p.m. on a call of an accident. While investigating the accident, police say 37-year-old Terrell Lydal Peck stood behind the door of a vehicle and urinated in the roadway.


Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 700 block of S. State Fair Blvd. around 7:20 p.m. on February 14 after it was reported that two people were observed looking into the windows of a residence. According to police, contact was made with the suspects, and an investigation led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia on 37-year-old Tavares Qyndel Black. Police arrested Black for possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, driving while suspended/revoked, and possession of a synthetic narcotic. Black was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.


On February 14, Pettis County deputies took a report regarding an assault in the 21000 block of Highway H. An investigation is ongoing in the case.
