The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the afternoon of Thursday, April 10, 2014.

Pettis County Deputies were called to the Riverside Pediatrics parking lot on Highway U in regard to someone dumping items in the parking lot. The Pettis County Sheriff's Office discovered that the items were connected to a stolen vehicle report that the Sedalia Police are working on.

A man reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that his wallet was stolen out of his 1994 Honda Accord while it was parked in the 4200 Block of West Main Street on April 9.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole the front license plate off of her vehicle in the last month.

Sedalia Police Make Two Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Stephen Lappat for failure to appear-felony, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Ashley Moore for failure to appear-misdemeanor and failure to appear-felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and distribution of synthetic narcotics, bond set at $50,000 surety.
