The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of April 28, 2013.

Noise complaint results in man’s arrest for assault on a law enforcement officer

At 8:00 Friday night, Sedalia police responded to a noise complaint in the 200 block of South Quincy. Upon contact with a male suspect, 24-year-old Victor Sarioglo, he reportedly assaulted a police officer. At the time of the police report, Sarioglo was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges of assault on a law enforcement officer.

Traffic stops lead to arrest for three Sedalia men

30-year-old Mario Madrid of Sedalia was arrested at 16th and Limit for driving while suspended during a traffic stop for disobeying a traffic light. Bond was set at $533.50 on the charge.

At 8:00 Saturday morning, 31-year-old Jeremiah Mullins of Sedalia was arrested during a traffic stop at 3rd and Grand for an active failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County. Bond on the warrant is $1000.

Friday afternoon, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle driven by Christopher Cooke of Sedalia for expired registration. A check through dispatch revealed Cooke was suspended. At the time of the police report, Cooke was in the Pettis County jail pending a $533.50 bond.

23-year-old Jayla Friend of Cameron, Mo. was arrested at 12:44 Friday afternoon on an active Johnson County warrant with a $500 cash only bond.

Sedalia man arrested at McDonalds for trespassing

Just before midnight on Friday, Sedalia police arrested Conner Embry of Sedalia at McDonald's, located at 1611 South Limit. The police report states Embry, who had a prior warning not be on the property, was charged with trespassing. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released with a court date.

Ford pickup with keys inside reported stolen Saturday morning

At 9:46 Saturday morning, Sedalia police took a vehicle theft complaint from a victim in the 1800 block of East 14th. According to the victim, someone stole his 2002 Ford pickup from his driveway sometime overnight. The victim said the vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside the vehicle. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports

A Pettis County Sheriff’s report states that on Friday afternoon, Pettis County Deputies along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 32-year-old Mari Friedly and 46-year-old Joel Surface of Sedalia on pending warrants

According to a report from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, David G. Woolery, and Damien P. Cloe were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and a controlled substance.

Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kyle Lane Shannon of Centerview Friday morning on an active Pettis County warrant.
