52-year-old Sedalia man arrested on Child Molestation charges

A press release from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon states that Pettis County Deputies have arrested 52-year-old Robert J. Neighbors of Sedalia following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse. The incident reportedly involved a 7-year-old white female known to Mr. Neighbors. The press release states Neighbors has now been charged with two counts of child molestation in the 1st degree. With a prior conviction, both are Class A Felonies. Neighbors is being held in the Pettis County Jail on $600,000.00 bond.

 

Vehicle stop Saturday night results in arrest for a Sedalia man

Just after 8:30 Saturday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 16th and Washington for improper registration. Upon contact with the driver, 39-year-old Jimmy A. Ray II was found to have a probation and parole warrant. Ray was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $4500 bond.

 

Sedalia teen arrested on multiple charges Sunday night

At 11:51 Sunday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at North Engineer and Saline for defective tail lights and unreadable plates. A subsequent check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed a passenger identified as 17-year-old Zachary Fox of Sedalia was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a prohibited style of weapon. At the time of the police report, Fox was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending charges.

 

Vehicle stop for no lights nets a man with a municipal warrant

Just after 8:30 Saturday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle with no lights at 2nd and Vermont. Upon contact with the driver, 17-year-old Jonathon Rockett, he was found to have a Sedalia municipal warrant for no driver’s license and defective headlights. Bond on the charges was set at $642.50.

 

27-year-old Sedalia woman arrested Sunday on a warrant

Around 5:30 Sunday evening, Sedalia police arrested 27-year-old Jessica Coffman of Sedalia on a failure to appear warrant out of Benton County. Bond on the warrant was set at $200 according to the police report.
