Police arrested a 35-year-old Sedalia woman just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday for possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon and failure to appear. According to the Sedalia Police Department, Trina Lynn Harvey was the occupant of a vehicle that was stopped near 24th and Washington for having no front license plate. Harvey had a warrant from Sedalia, and was reportedly found to be in possession of an illegal weapon and drug paraphernalia at the time of the traffic stop. Harvey was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


Sedalia Police made an arrest for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 11: 40 p.m. Wednesday night. Police say a Nissan disobeyed a stop sign at South Summit Avenue and East 16th Street. It was pulled over and the driver was discovered to be in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia. Police arrested 17-year-old Dakota J. Marcos, who was taken to the Pettis Co. Jail, where he was booked and released on state charges with a court date to be determined.


Police took a complaint from a resident of the 900 block of S. Vermont Avenue who reported that a shotgun had been taken from his home. Police say there are no suspects at this time.


Pettis County deputies arrested Michael David Rackham for driving while revoked following a traffic stop for speeding at US 50 and Pleasant Green Road. Rackham was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
