Pettis County Deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol Uncover Drugs

Pettis County Deputies along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol served a search warrant at 1413 West 11th St. in Sedalia on April 10, 2014. Officials seized a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Lyle Walker and Sherley Walker were arrested. Lyle Walker faces a charge of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and Sherley Walker faces charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, bond set at $2,500 for both of them.

Sedalia Police Receive Report of A Man Waving a Gun on Friday Morning

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that a man waved a gun at her when she stopped for a red light on Broadway and Winchester on Friday morning (April 18). The victim described the suspect as a white male in the 30s with scruffy facial hair and driving an older model hunter green Camaro.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported Over the Weekend

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her laptop from another person's home mat in the 300 Block of East Saline on Friday (April 18).

A man in the 4200 Block of West Main reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone stole a Samsung television and a beer stein from his home between 9 p.m. on April 18 and 4:15 a.m. on April 19.

Sedalia Police investigated a reported burglary that happened in the 900 Block of West 11th on April 18.

A man in the 22000 Block of Smasal Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged his mailbox on the night of April 19 or morning of April 20.

A woman in the 2600 Block of Martha Lane reported to Pettis County Deputies that she got into a verbal argument with a family member and that person slashed her tires on Saturday (April 19).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of littering that took place in the area of Route T and Richey Road on April 19.

Two Animal Bites Being Investigated

A man in the 500 Block of South Warren reported to Sedalia Police that his dog was bit by a neighbor's dog on the left ear. According to a witness, the dogs were running the fence in common. Both dogs stood up and the neighbor dog bit the victim's dog on the ear.

A man in the 4200 Blcok of West Main reported he was bit by an animal on Saturday (April 19). The man had some minor scrapes from the animal bite.

Two Cases of Domestic Assault Are Reported

Sedalia Police are investigating a reported case of domestic assault that happened in the 600 Block of East 24th on Saturday (April 19).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a physical disturbance that happened in the area of Suburban Lane and McVey Road yesterday (April 20).

Several Arrests Are Made Over the Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Terry Stevson for driving while suspended, possession of marijuana, two charges of possession of synthetic narcotics and concealing contraband substance in the Pettis County Jail.

Sedalia Police arrested Paul Fletcher Jr. for possession of drug paraphernalia, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Stacey Craig for a probation violation, bond set at $500 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Crystal and Steven Johnson for failure to appear, bond set at $125 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Scott Newberry for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Antonio Hurst for being a fugitive from justice in Kansas and a probation and parole warrant from Kansas.

Sedalia Police arrested Scott Ritter for driving while suspended.
