The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s crime reports are from the morning of Friday, April 4, 2014.

Sedalia Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Accident

Sedalia Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident in the area of North Washington and Pettis Street yesterday (April 3). A man reported to Sedalia Police that a vehicle backed into his car and headed west at a high rate of speed after the accident.

Several Thefts Reported

An employee of Sedalia Rental and Supply reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole rental property of the business between Dec. 26, 2013 and April 2, 2014.

A woman in the 200 Block of East Boonville Road reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her prescription on April 1.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone took her keys while in the Sedalia Housing Authority area on Pettis Street.

Sedalia Police Make One Arrest

Sedalia Police arrested Patricia Wiggins for failure to appear, bond set at $500.
