Several Assaults Reported Over the Weekend

Sedalia Police are investigating a report of sexual assault involving a child.

Sedalia Police received a report and are investigating a reported case of child abuse that happened in the 400 Block of West 20th Street.

Sedalia Police are investigating a report of an assault that happened Saturday (April 5) in the area of 3rd and Prospect.

Several Thefts Reported

The Rosebud Police Department and Sedalia Police are investigating a reported case of identity theft. The Rosebud Police Department reported that someone in Sedalia got cable service to their home by using the name and information from somebody in Rosebud.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she found someone damaged the restrooms at Katy Park and did damage to the outside portion of the facility on Saturday (April 5).

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone spray painted three "no trespassing" signs along a fence in the 3800 Block of Highway ZZ on April 4.

Sedalia Police received a report on April 4 that someone stole parts off a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix in the 700 Block of East 16th Street.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that a group of young children stole a United States flag valued at $100 from her yard yesterday afternoon (April 6).

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone attempted to break into his home. Someone cut the screen off his front window and attempted to push the window up in the 2800 Block of South Grand.

Employees at Casey's at 3050 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $5.03 gas drive off that happened on April 4.

Several Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested Leadrewis Vasser for having a Benton County warrant, bond set at $10,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Melissa Barker and Alan Saxton for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Mithcell McKee for trespassing, bond set at $283.

Sedalia Police arrested Sarah Mcateer for failure to appear, bond set at $238.

Sedalia Police arrested Terrell Peck for failure to appear, bond set at $130.80.

Sedalia Police arrested Harley Norton for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Pettis County Deputies and a Missouri Department of Conservation Agent arrested Neil Lewis on an outstanding Sedalia warrant, bond set at $88.50.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Elizabeth Esqueda of Sedalia for outstanding failure to appear warrants out of Johnson County and Sedalia.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Richard Brummet for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Mary McNish for driving while suspended and a drug violation for possession of synthetic narcotics.

Sedalia Police arrested Douglas Bolejack for domestic assault in the 3rd.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Gary Evans on an outstanding Pettis County warrant, and found 36-year-old Felip Granado had a no bond probation and parole warrant, Saline County warrant and a Carroll County warrant.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Anthony Dean Driskell for being a parole and probation absconder.
