The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate Rape Case

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies there was an incident of statutory rape that recently occurred. Pettis County Deputies are investigating.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 1100 Block of East 10th reported to Sedalia Police that someone fraudulently purchased $1,372.34 in items with a Walmart credit card since July 15.

A man in the 600 Block of West 2nd reported to Sedalia Police that someone forced entry into two of his vehicles and stole two tool boxes, a car stereo and a bicycle valued at $500 between noon on Aug. 11 and 3:59 p.m. on Aug. 13.. There was also reported damage to the ignition and steering column of one of the vehicles.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police did a warrant check in the area of Broadway and Kentucky. Sedalia Police found the suspect, Tyler Hice, in an alleyway. Hice attempted to pull away from the officers and was taken into custody after a short scuffle. Hice was arrested for a probation violation warrant, bond set at $2,000 cash or $2,500 surety and a Pettis County warrant for larceny/resisting arrest, bond set at $7,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Alison Kowalski for discharging fireworks in the city limits, bond set at $109 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Michael McNeil of Sedalia for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Daryl Rasa for driving while suspended.
