Sedalia Police Investigate An Assault

Sedalia Police investigated a reported assault in the 1000 Block of East 10th on Saturday (Dec. 14). The victim reported to Sedalia Police that she was struck with a knife and fists during the incident.

Several Thefts Investigated Over The Weekend

A victim reported to Sedalia Police that air conditioner was stolen from a home in the 1400 Block of South Grand.

Sedalia Police responded to a reported burglary in the 400 Block of West 2nd on the night of Dec. 14. The victim reported to Sedalia Police that several items were stolen from the home.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his Vicodin prescription out of his car.

A woman in the 900 Block of West 4th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a frosty the snowman decoration valued at $20 from her front yard on Dec. 15.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from a victim in the area of Highway U and McVey Road that someone broke two windows, causing $600 in property damage to a home on Dec. 15.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a gate that was knocked down in the area of Maltsbarger Road and Highway 65 on Dec. 14.

A woman in the 500 Block of West 4th reported to Sedalia Police that two people were trespassing inside her home on Saturday (Dec. 14). The two suspects fled the home when she saw them.

Several Arrests Made Over The Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Clifford Francy for being a fugitive from justice and probation violation out of Texas, bond set at $10,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Merle Piers II for failure to appear, bond set at $98.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Paig Hawley for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Shania Pinkett for a seat belt violation, bond set at $10.

Sedalia Police arrested Corey Grigsby, Joshua Millsap and Lester Rivera Velasquez for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Jose Torres-Villagomez for 3^rd Degree domestic assault.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Heather Bryant for having an active warrant for her arrest.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Christina Marie Forsee for having an outstanding warrant.
