The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Crime Reports are from the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Stabbing

Yesterday (Dec. 17), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 900 Block of West Broadway for a reported disturbance involving a weapon. The victim reported to Sedalia Police that he was stabbed and there was a fire in the basement. Sedalia Police found the victim in the 300 Block of West Broadway. He was found to have superficial scratches on his left hand and did not require medical treatment.

Several Thefts Reported In the Area

A man in the 23000 Block of Sacajawea Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that several cattle are missing from his property.

A man in the 1000 Block of East 3rd St. reported to Sedalia Police that someone had stolen the central air unit and stripped it for copper.

Yesterday (Dec. 17), Pettis County Deputies received a theft report from a man in the 29000 Block of Pleasant Hill Road. The man reported that someone stole several items from his property on Dec. 16 or 17.

A woman in the 400 Block of East 5th St. reported to Sedalia Police that someone came into the home and took some money from her roommate.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone knocked down a gate at Malsbarger Road and Highway 65 on Dec. 14.

Employees of Breaktime at 318 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole items from the store on Dec. 16.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Malcolm Briscoe for a violation of a court order probation violation, bond set at $30,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Arturo Comacho-Martinez for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Kevin Allard for a probation violation.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Homer Lucas for having two warrants out of Randolph County.
