The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, Dec. 30, 2013.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported Over the Weekend

A man in La Monte reported to Pettis County Deputies that some copper wire were stolen off some grain bins located on Bee Branch Road between Dec. 24 and 26.

A woman in the 26000 Block of Goodwill Chapel Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that her brand new HP laptop computer valued at $1416.72 was stolen from her home while she was at work on Dec. 28.

Sedalia Police received a report of a garden tractor snow blade that was stolen from the backyard of a home in the 1700 Block of South Carr.

A woman in the 300 Block of West 5thSt. reported to Sedalia Police that a 24-foot aluminum ladder was stolen from outside the home.

Pettis County Deputies received a burglary report in the 4500 Block of Forest Park Road that happened between Dec. 26 and 29.

Sedalia Police received a report of a business in the 300 Block of West 7thSt. that was broken into sometime in the last two months. Someone broke into the business and stole several items.

A man in the 300 Block of West 7th St.reported to Sedalia Police that someone used his debit card three times without his authorization.

A woman in the 200 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that someone did $1,000 in damages to her 2000 Pontiac G8.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a vehicle that was damaged yesterday (Dec. 29) in the 800 Block of McVey Road. The window was valued at $600.

Pettis County Deputies received a property damage report that happened in the 22000 Block of Cloney Road on Saturday (Dec. 28).

Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the northeast area of Pettis County on Highway O in reference to an abandoned vehicle out in a field yesterday afternoon (Dec. 29). The vehicle was struck out in a field and there was property hanging out of the trunk of the vehicle.

Sedalia Police went to the 1300 Block of East 4th St.in regard to two dogs that were on the loose on Dec. 26. Sedalia Police helped get the dogs confined and found several more dogs at the home. A summons was issued for violation of the limit animals allowed to be kept within the city limits.

Sedalia Police received a report of harassment that was done via text messages in the 600 Block of West 6th St.

Several Arrests Made Over the Weekend 

Sedalia Police arrested Sean Gay for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jeremiah Cline for possession of marijuana, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Earnest Brown for having a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Nicholas Noble for failure to appear, bond set at $200 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Crystal Millar for failure to appear, bond set at $150.

Sedalia Police arrested Shirley Hampshire for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Serena Sundberg for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kelen Salmons for careless and imprudent driving, resisting stop by fleeing and failure to stop at a stop sign. Salmons was placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.

Sedalia Police arrested Dale Kroske for a public peace disturbance at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Kroske was arrested for being loud and threatening Bothwell Regional Health Center staff.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Bemiss for two charges of domestic assault in the 3rd.

Pettis County Deputies arrested George Smith on an active Pettis County warrant for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Nichole Lipe for driving while suspended.
