The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported 

Employees of American Auto Rental reported to Sedalia Police that a leased out red 2009 Chevy Cobalt has not been returned and may have been taken to California by the one who leased it. The car was supposed to be returned on Feb. 17.

Employees of JCPenny reported to Sedalia Police that two people may have stolen merchandise from the store on Feb. 25. The subjects ran to a vehicle and left the store after employees tried stopping them in the store.

A woman in the 600 Block of North Engineer reported to Sedalia Police Department that her license plates were stolen off her van.

A man in the 4200 Block of West Main Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged his vehicle on Feb. 23.

Sedalia Police are investigating a reported case of harassment in the 300 Block of South Ohio.

Three Arrests Made 

Sedalia Police arrested Steven Nelson of trespassing and failure to obey/resisting arrest. Nelson took off his shirt at the End Zone Sports Bar & Grill, tried starting a fight with customers and refused to leave. When Sedalia Police arrived, he actively resisted.

Pettis County Deputies arrested James and Robin Phillips on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree.
