Sedalia Police Receive Report of Molestation

Sedalia Police received a report yesterday (Feb. 6) from two juvenile females that they were molested by a juvenile subject known to them.

Several Thefts Reported to Sedalia Police

Employees of the Pettis County Ambulance District Headquarters at 210 West 4th reported to Sedalia Police that a red, Briggs & Stratton generator was stolen from the station between Jan. 23 and Feb. 6.

The manager of Verizon Wireless at 1800 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that she fired an employee due to stealing. The suspect stole a phone and sold it. According to the police report, he also stole money from customers as they would make a payment for their phones.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone fraudulently used his credit card.

A man in the 3500 Block of Park Avenue reported to Pettis County Deputies that his license plate was either lost or stolen between Jan. 30 and Feb. 6.

Several Arrests Made by Sedalia Police

Sedalia Police arrested Derek Thomas for having a Pettis County warrant for charges of possession of a controlled substance, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jacoby Bell for stealing from Walmart, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Erik Schrand for assault, bond set at $533.50.
