The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports come from the morning of Friday, January 2, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies Respond To Shots Fired

Pettis County Deputies responded to shots fired around 12:20 yesterday afternoon (Jan. 1) in the 36000 Block of Highway M in Mora. A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that he was shot by a pellet gun by another male, whom he knew. The victim suffered minor injuries and the investigation is on going.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reports

A man reported to Pettis County County Deputies that his car was stolen from the 600 Block of South Main Street, in La Monte, between Dec. 30 and Jan. 1.

A woman in the 500 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that a window air conditioner unit was stolen from her rental apartment, between Dec. 19 and Dec. 30.

A woman in the 400 Block of East Tower, reported to Sedalia Police that somebody stole her red metal Waterloo toolbox, along with the tools inside.

A woman in the 200 Block of West 2nd reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her license plate, between 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 31.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a theft that occurred in the 30000 Block of Randy Drive, between Dec. 28 and Dec. 31.
An employee of Breaktime at 2801 West Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that there was an $8.01 gas drive off that happened on Dec. 31.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of identity theft that occurred sometime between Oct. 1, 2014 and Jan. 1, 2015. The victim reported to Pettis County Deputies that there were several unapproved transactions that occurred on their bank accounts.

Sedalia Police received a report of identity theft. A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her brother stole her mother's identity and opened an AT&T account using her information.

A man in the 1000 Block of West 10th, reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged the driver's side window of his car, between 3:30 p.m. on Dec 30 and 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 31, causing $200 in damages.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of three mail boxes that were struck and damaged in the 200 Block of Hopkins Street in Hughesville, between 10 a.m. on Dec. 31 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 1.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of property damage that occurred in the 3700 Block of McVey Road on Dec. 30 or 31.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of property Damage that occurred around McVey Road and 40th Street Terrace on the morning of Dec. 31.

Sedalia Police went to the 600 Block of West 6th on a report of a door being kicked in at 1:37 this morning (Jan. 2). According to the caller, they never saw the suspect and did not think the suspect came into the house.

Nine Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Charity Card for failure to appear-misdemeanor and driving while suspended, bond set at $901.

Sedalia Police arrested Cody Wissman for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Maribel Ubaldo for failure to appear and assault, bond set at $200.

Sedalia Police arrested Paul Williams Sr. for a drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor, drug violation for possession of synthetic narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and two charges of concealing a controlled substance into the county jail.

Sedalia Police arrested Cora Comfort for a drug violation for possession of synthetic narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped for having improver vehicle registration.

Sedalia Police arrested Bobby Huffman for a drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor.

Sedalia Police issued a citation to He Zong Shaw for operating a motor vehicle without an operator's license.

Sedalia Police arrested Jasmine McCartney for stealing from Dollar General at 2402 West Broadway.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Conchetta Wolfe on an active warrant out of Pettis County.
