The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, June 5, 2015.

Sedalia Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault. The victim claims she was assaulted 37-years ago, by somebody that she knows.

A woman in the area of West 3rd and North Broadway in Houstonia reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged a window and the hood of her car on May 30 or 31. The victim reported there was $1,200 in damages done.

A woman in the area of West Cooper and North Osage reported to Sedalia Police that someone shattered a window to her car, yesterday (June 4).

A man in the area of East 13th and South New York reported to Sedalia Police that somebody broke into his car and stole his debit card out of his wallet and used it at two seperate locations.
A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she loaned her car out on May 29 and it has not been returned.

A man in the area of South Prospect and West 18th Street reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into his home and stole his Tri Star Cobra Force 12-guage shotgun, between May 22 and June 3.

A woman in the area of West 3rd and South Quincy reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole a large black flower pot and cement bird bath, both valued at $120 to $150, from her front yard.

A man in the 100 Block of Willa Lane in Windsor reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a theft yesterday (June 4).

An employee of Dollar General reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole numerous items of merchandise from the store yesterday (June 4).

Sedalia Police received a report yesterday (June 4) that a victim was bit by a dog twice in the area of West 5th and South State Fair Boulevard. The dog was found to not be up to date on its rabies shots and is being held at the Sedalia Animal Shelter under a ten-day quarantine. The owner surrendered his ownership to the City of Sedalia and no charges are being pressed.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone was harassing a woman via Facebook since January 1, 2015.
