The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, May 30, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her identity and obtained utility services in her name, sometime in the last year.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that somebody stole $3 to $4 in change from her car, in the 1700 Block of East Henry yesterday (May 29).

Two assaults reported to Sedalia Police

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he was assaulted on May 26, in the area of the Sedalia Housing Authority. The man also reported that after the assault, somebody stole some personal items from his home.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her son was assaulted, while at Wood's on Wednesday (May 28).

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged her vehicle on the passenger front fender well yesterday (May 29), causing $400 in damages.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Gregory Porter for stealing from Wood's and then fled the store security and has a charge of resisting/interfering with the arrest for a felony.

Sedalia Police arrested Kevin Kendrick for a drug violation for possession of marijuana, misdemeanor.

Sedalia Police arrested Gabrielle Noland for possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police arrested Richard Batzel for failure to appear-felony.

A license plate was found in the area of 4th and Engineer and given to Sedalia Police
