The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, October 10, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone made a $99.90 unauthorized transaction to her checking account on Wednesday (Oct. 8).

A man in the 300 Block of East 17th, reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into his storage locker, stole a saw, air compressor and a 220 volt air conditioning unit.

A woman in the 400 Block of North Hurley reported to Sedalia Police that a 21-inch MTD red lawn mower was stolen, between August 30 and October 8.

An employee of Chad's Awning, at 1417 East Boonville, reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a theft, between 10:30 pm on Oct. 8 and 6:10 pm on Oct. 9.

One Assault Investigated

Sedalia Police investigated a reported assault in the 1800 Block of South Carr.

A Hit & Run Accident Occurs in State Fair Community College Parking Lot

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her son was driving her vehicle and was involved in a hit and run accident in the State Fair Community College parking lot on Wednesday (Oct. 8).

Two Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Burgess for three active warrants.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Matthew Cook of Smithton after a vehicle stop revealed he had three Pettis County warrants for his arrest.
