The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, October 2, 2015.

Sedalia Police received a report of a man running around a bus stop, with a knife, in the 500 Block of North Osage, yesterday morning (October 1). The students on the bus saw it and reported it to the bus driver. The bus driver informed the principal and Sedalia Police investigated. Sedalia Police found the incident occurred more towards the woods and the suspect was just running. Sedalia Police reported the man did not pose a danger to the students.

Three victims reported to Sedalia Police items were stolen from their vehicles in the 3100 Block of Brianna Boulevard.

A man reported to Sedalia Police he sold a cell phone through Ebay, but didn't receive payment through Paypal. He then received a scam to pay Paypal to receive the money back. PayPal told the man that was not their policy and identified it as a scam.

A man at West 6th and South Missouri reported to Sedalia Police someone opened her mail and left it by the back door.

An employee of Open Door Ministries reported to Sedalia Police someone spray painted a section of the building's east side wall.

A woman in the area of 29th Street and Route M reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone littered.

Sedalia Police arrested Brian Mummert for forgery and stealing from a building.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Gullett Jr. for a private peace disturbance, bond set at $283.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Alberto Franco Perez for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Keely Buerky, of Sedalia, after she turned herself in for an outsanding warrant for minor in possession of alcohol.
