The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, September 26, 2014.

A Fire Reported in La Monte

Pettis County Deputies and the Pettis County Fire Department responded to 31181 Main Street in reference to a strctural fire that happened on Thursday, Sept. 25. The family and animals were found to be safe and all out of the home. The investigation is said to be on going.

Two Assaults Investigated

Sedalia Police is investigating a reported sex crime and assault that occurred in the area of 3rd and Missouri, yesterday (Sept. 25).

Sedalia Police received a report of an assault in the 600 Block of East 9th.

Several Thefts Reported

Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 0 and Salem Road in reference to a burglary that happened, between Sept. 22 and 25. The front door on the home was open, but Pettis County Deputies were not able to determine the damages or the missing items at the time of the initial report.

A woman in the 600 Block of East 10th, reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a weed eater, gas blower and deer blind, valued at $530.

The manager of Cork-N-Bottle reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $46.25 gas drive-off.

An employee of Casey's, at 1909 West Main, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $5 gas drive off.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone knocked his motorcycle over at 417 West Pettis on Sept. 23.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone keyed her car, while at the AT&T store in the 3100 Block of West Broadway, between 9:20 am and 3:16 pm.

Three Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Brady Allred for failure to appear, bond set at $150.

Sedalia Police arrested Terry Strause for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police arrested Cynthia Biggs for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
