The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported to Sedalia Police and Pettis County Deputies

A woman in the 1200 Block of West 5th St. reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole five Nintendo DS game systems, 36 DS games and a DVD player, valued at $1960, from the home on Jan. 10.

A man in the 3100 Block of West 10th reported to Sedalia Police that he forgot his debit card at 10th and Thompson on Jan. 10. The man found out that several unauthorized purchases were made at Walmart with the card.

A man in Hughesville reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole items from his home in the 25000 Block of Highway D on Jan. 10.

Employees at Dominos reported to Sedalia Police that $300 worth of food was purchased online and the food was never picked up.

A man in the 28000 Block of Highway V reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone had stolen copper wire/utility line wire valued at $750 from his property on August 29, 2013.

A woman on Ball Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that an indoor floor heater valued at $100 was stolen from her home on Jan. 11.

A woman in the 2900 Block of Meadow Wood Lane reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged her mailbox.

Three Assaults Investigated

Sedalia Police went to the area of 13th and Massachusetts on a report of a physical disturbance involving weapons. A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was struck in the head with a rake by two men.

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a report of an assault in the 1300 Block of Boonville Road.

A woman in the 200 Block of Scott Joplin Court reported to Sedalia Police she was assaulted.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he was bit on the leg by a dog while jogging in the area of South Kentucky and West 32nd.

Three Hit-And-Run Accidents Reported in Sedalia

Sedalia Police investigated three reported hit-and-run accidents that occurred in the 400 Block of West 6th, 900 Block of South Ohio and 3200 Block of West Broadway.

Several Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested 23-year-old Robert Bemiss for burglary in the 1st, property damage in the 1st, domestic assault in the 2nd, resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer in the 2nd and armed criminal action.

Sedalia Police arrested Rickey Everhart for driving while suspended, distribution, delivery and manufacturing of synthetic narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a weapon.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Shane Morgan for passing bad checks, bond set at $2,500 or 10% cash or surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Mark Paxton for a warrant, bond set at $2,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Billy Casto for failure to appear, bond set at $200 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Joy Foster for stealing $61.81 in items from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Jacob Schumaker for driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Sedalia Police arrested Steven Morton for failure to obey and resisting arrest.
