The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, Jan. 2, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 23000 Block of Route O reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's office that somebody stole scrap iron from the property on Jan. 1.

A woman in the 1800 Block of West 11th St. reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her Samsung cell phone, valued at $125.

A man in the 300 Block of West 5th St. reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged the door to his apartment by breaking the window and bending the hasp, causing $100 in damages, on Dec. 30.

Pettis County Deputies took a report of checks being stolen and were fraudulently used from the 2000 Block of Stonewood Circle.

A man in the 26000 Block of Goodwill Chapel Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone had attempted to steal his identity between Nov. 1 and Dec. 30.

Two Assaults Investigated on New Year's Day

Pettis County Deputies, Sedalia Police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a large fight at Dukes & Boots at 12:30 am on Jan. 1. Three individuals were assaulted in the fight and Pettis County Deputies are investigating the case.

A man in the 400 Block of Albright Court reported to Sedalia Police that he was assaulted by someone he knows on Jan. 1.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Jacob Astar for possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution/manufacturing of other dangerous non-narcotic drugs, marijuana, drug violation for possession of marijuana misdemeanor and drug violation for possession of other dangerous non-narcotic drugs.

Sedalia Police arrested Anthony Jones for driving while suspended, disobeying a stop sign, getting into a traffic accident while driving while suspended and disobeying a stop sign, bond set at $644.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Bret Manewal for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Nicholas Duppass for trespassing, bond set at $283 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Earnest Brown for domestic assault in the 2nd.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kristin Anderson on a failure to appear warrant from the Mountain Grove Police Department.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Salmeron-Pascua Enedino for driving without a driver's license.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Victor Madrid for having Pettis County warrants.
