The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, March 3, 2014.

Sedalia Police Investigate A Reported Scam

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was the victim of a scam. The woman received a call from someone claiming to be with a collection agency. They set up a payment plan using her credit card. The woman found out two days later that it was a scam and more money had been put on her credit card than authorized.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her Hi-Point 9 mm pistol valued at $150 from her car on Feb. 18.

A man in the 34000 Block of Highway U reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole his green John Deere brush hog from  his property on Feb.28.

A man in Sedalia reported to Sedalia Police that someone took some electronic equipment, clothes and other items from his home.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone took his checkbook and contents from his coat while in the restroom at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on Feb. 22 between 8-10 pm.

A man in the 300 Block of Webster Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that a door was forced open and someone entered inside the garage on March 1, but nothing appeared taken.

Pettis County Deputies received a property damage report on Feb. 28. Someone reported that their mail boxes in the 29000 Block of Highway M was lying in the road in several pieces.

Sedalia Police received a report of an assault in the 600 Block of South Moniteau.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of harassment in the Hidden Hills subdivision on the night of March 1.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Nathan Woolery for having a Benton County warrant, bond set at $10,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Roy Neighbors for failure to appear, bond set at $10.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Leggiero and Wendy Metcalf for leaving the scene of an accident and probation violation, no bond was set.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Bryar Hummel of Cole Camp for a Pettis County warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Angelia Asbury for a violation of full order of protection.
