The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, August 10, 2015.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of Highway 50 and South Park on Friday evening (August 7). 14-year-old David Karpenchuk, of Smithton, was crossing the street, when 22-year-old Rebecca Ittner, of Kansas City, struck him. Karpenchuk had minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance. Ittner's vehicle had minor damage to the front end.

Sedalia Police received a report that someone stole a Cub Cadet LT 50 riding lawn mower, valued at $1,999.99, from Tractor Supply, at 3901 West Broadway, on August 4.

A man in the area of West 14th and South Missouri reported to Sedalia Police someone stole a bucket full of tools from an unlocked car, sometime between 7 p.m. on August 7 and 11 a.m. on August 8.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of several power tools that were stolen in the Happy Acres Trailer Park on North Highway 65, sometime between August 5 and 7.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a theft from a home in the 29000 Block of Lakeshore Drive in Pettis County on Saturday or Sunday.

Sedalia Police received a report from an employee of Sedalia Cold Storage, at 314 West Main, that someone broke into the building, but nothing appeared stolen.

Sedalia Police were involved in a vehicle pursuit that started with a car running a stop sign in the area of 16th and Marvin on Saturday morning (August 8). The vehicle drove to the area of New York Avenue on the eastern side of the city, before Sedalia Police broke off the vehicle pursuit.

Pettis County Deputies were in a vehicle pursuit with Eris Swiger of Sedalia on Saturday morning. Swigert was arrested at his home and charged with felony resisting, felony driving on a suspended license, faile to stop at a stop sign, failed to stay in the right half of the roadway, speeding, careless and imprudent driving, failed to signal and no license plate light.

A woman in the 700 block of South Walnut Avenue in La Monte reported to Pettis County Deputies she was assaulted on August 7.

Sedalia Police arrested Kristen Miller for stealing from Walmart, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested James Wyatt for failure to appear and driving while suspended, bond set at $350.

Sedalia Police arrested Lesley Kimbrell for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Derick Schreiner for burglary in the 1st, stealing (shoplifting), unlawful possession of concealable weapon and unlawful use of a weapon after shoplifting from Walmart and running away with a weapon.

Sedalia Police arrested Wayne Lion for stealing from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Laura Martin for possession of drug paraphernalia, drug violation for possession of other dangerous non-narcotics drugs and resisting/interfering with an arrest for a felony.

Sedalia Police arrested Brandon Oshel for possession of drug paraphernalia and enduring the welfare of a child in the 1st degree.

Sedalia Police arrested Chiron Webb for assault in the 3rd degree.

Sedalia Police arrested Jennifer Hurley and Oleg Mironov for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Victoriano Sevastian-Felipe for driving while intoxicated.
