Missing Person Reported To Pettis County Deputies

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a missing adult in the 1400 Block of Timber Ridge Drive on August 16. No further details have been given at this time.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported Over the Weekend

A woman in the 900 Block of West 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her wallet, valued at $30, sometime since Saturday morning (Aug. 16).

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he lost his cell phone, valued at $30, in the 1500 Block of East 16th on Saturday (Aug. 16).

A man in the 1500 Block of South Prospect reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $15 in loose change from two of his vehicles on Saturday (Aug. 16).

An employee of Jiffy Stop, at 1722 West Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $20.08 gas drive off.

A Walmart Asset Protection employee reported to Sedalia Police that a black female wearing gray clothing, concealed clothing inise her purse and stole them on August. 15.

A Walmart Asset Protection employee reported to Sedalia Police that a shoplifter stole $194.52 in items on August 13.

A woman in the 2600 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke a window and tore the screen of a kitchen window to the home, early this morning (Aug. 18).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of property damage that was done to a vehicle in the 6600 Block of East Highway 50 on August 14 or 15.

A man in the 6200 Block of East Highway 50, reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged his mailbox, valued at $100 on Aug. 14 or 15.

A man reported to Sedalia Police on Friday (Aug. 15), that he was bit by a small dog near the intersection of Propsect and West 3rd. The man had a small puncture wound to his calf, but did not seek medical attention at the time.

A license plate was found in the roadway of West 16th and Highway 65 and it was turned into the Sedalia Police.

Several Arrests Made Over the Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Jack Brown for a Morgan County failure to appear-felony, bond set at $15,000 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Jesus Guzman-Nunez for failure to appear, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Cody Pirtle for failure to appear, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Keith Staten for two failure to appear charges out of Johnson County, bond set at $700 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested John Cole for failure to appear from Saline County-Marshall, bond set at $100 cash/surety and a Sedalia failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Ernest Bozarth for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Derek Grimm for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Shannon Wheatley for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Henry Contreras for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.
