The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, August 24, 2015.

Sedalia Police received a report early this morning (August 24) of a man witha knife running in the area of Golden Corral. Sedalia Police found the man and took him into protective custody and transported him to the Pettis County Jail.

Sedalia Police received a report on Saturday morning (Aug. 22) of a shooting that happened near Pacific and Missouri around 1:45 a.m. Sedalia Police found signs of a possible injury, but did not located a suspect or victim.

Sedalia Police received a report that someone stole a car, while the victim's were in Applebee's early this morning (August 24).

Sedalia Police received a report of a man that was assaulted in the 1400 Block of South Harrison yesterday morning (August 23). Sedalia Police determined the assault was a robbery. The victim said two subjects had pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his wallet. The victim was struck with a pistol and kicked. The suspects stole the wallet and fled. The victim suffered lacerations to the forehead and refused treatment.

A person with 1st Baptist Church of Sedalia, reported to Sedalia Police someone forged $8.127.55 with two checks.

Sedalia Police received a report of $120 in property damage that occurred in the area of East Boonville and South Emmet Avenue.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kelly Powen for three active warrants.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Vernon Graham of La Monte for an active Johnson County warrant, bond set at $25,000 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Durham for a parole violation.

Sedalia Police arrested Bruce Stuerke for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Chris Naylor for an active warrant.
